Silent Night | Quartet Singing After Oral Cancer

This video captures two important things. The first is the song Silent Night, written by Franz Xaver Gruber, about the night of Jesus Christ's birth, and the second is my first attempt at quartet singing after my hemiglossectomy (half-tongue removal). I am so glad we chose this song and that people were willing to join and sing along! Christmas music has a way of bringing people together.

I'm about a year and a half out from that surgery, and I can finally sing in four part harmony without being too much of a distraction, musically. If you have had this surgery, I know you understand how difficult it can be--so I thank you in advance for your kindness and encouragement!
